ซึ่งการจะเตรียมตัวสอบนอกจากการอ่านหนังสือท่องไวยกรณ์แล้ว  การจดจำคำศัพท์ TOEIC เป็นเทคนิคสำคัญที่ช่วยเพิ่มคะแนนสอบได้  วันนี้เรารวบรวมเอาศัพท์ TOEIC ที่ควรรู้มาให้ เป็นคำศัพท์ที่ออกสอบบ่อยๆ  ลองท่องไว้  อ่านผ่านตา เพื่อเตรียมพร้อมลงสนามสอบ

คำศัพท์สำหรับสอบ TOEIC แบ่งเป็นหมวดต่างๆ  เช่น หมวดธุรกิจทั่วไป , หมวด Office  , หมวดสินค้า , หมวดการเงิน , หมวดการจัดการ , หมวดท่องเที่ยวและบันเทิง

วันนี้เราขอยกคำศัพท์ที่ออกสอบบ่อยๆ ในหมวดท่องเที่ยวและบันเทิง    ศัพท์หมวดนี้ส่วนมากจะเกี่ยวกับเรื่องงานกิจกรรม, event, เทศกาล, การโรงแรม, และการเดินทาง มีศัพท์ที่น่าสนใจหลายคำเลย คัดมาเน้นๆ ให้แล้ว ไปดูเลย

aisle n. ทางเดินระหว่างที่นั่ง passageway Would you like a window seat or an aisle seat?
amateur n. มือสมัครเล่น beginner He was an amateur singer until the age of 40, when he turned professional.
announcement n. ประกาศ broadcast The president made an unexpected announcement this morning.
apologize v. ขอโทษ -say sorry, excuse oneself Trains may be subject to delay on the northern line – we apologize for any inconvenience caused.
apology n. คำขอโทษ – She complained to the company and they sent her a written apology.
applaud v. ปรบมือ – She was applauded for a full five minutes after her speech.
arrival n. การมาถึง – The train’s approximate time of arrival is 10.30.
arrive v. มาถึง reach, show up, land She’s not a very organized person and she always arrives late at meetings.
audience n. ผู้ชม crowd, spectators The television company has lost a large part of its audience since it changed its programming.
auditorium n. หอประชุม -hall No smoking in the auditorium.
baggage n. สัมภาระ luggage, belongings, suitcases No one is allowed on the plane unless their baggage has been thoroughly checked.
beverage n. เครื่องดื่ม drinks Hot beverages will be served in 15 minutes.
board v. ขึ้น (ยานพาหนะ) catch, get on, enter The platform was crammed with people trying to board the train.
cancellation n. การยกเลิก – The hotel is fully booked, but we will let you know if there are any cancellations.
commuter n. ผู้สัญจรไปมา – If a strike does take place, commuters in the Northeast would be severely affected.
complaint n. ข้อร้องเรียน – We’ve received a complaint from one of our listeners about offensive language.
complimentary adj. ให้ฟรี, ไม่เสียค่าใช้จ่าย free, free of charge, on the house The special package includes two complimentary meals.
departure n. การออกเดินทาง, ขาออก – Please hand in your keys at the reception on your departure from the hotel.
destination n. จุดหมายปลายทาง – It’s the good weather that makes Spain such a popular tourist destination.
itinerary n. กำหนดการเดินทาง schedule The tour operator will arrange transport and plan your itinerary.
